Natchitoches Parish Rural Public Transit Service Paused
Effective immediately, rural public transit services in Natchitoches Parish are temporarily paused until further notice.
During this pause, rides will not be available through the rural public transit program. We understand this may create challenges for residents who rely on this service and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Updates—including any information about service restoration—will be posted on this website as they become available.
We recognize the critical importance of public transportation in providing access to jobs, medical care, and essential services, and we remain committed to preserving and strengthening this service for our riders and community.

A minimum 24-hour advance notice is required on all reservations. NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 1:00 PM OF THE DAY BEFORE.
ABOUT:
The program provides curb-to-curb transportation service throughout the Natchitoches Parish area as part of a program operated by the Rapides Area Planning Commission. This flexible public transportation service provides rides locally and to nearby destinations, but requires a ride reservation be made in advance. All vehicles are ADA accessible.
The pilot program part of a planned program to develop a centrally coordinated public transportation system to fulfill unmet rural public transportation demand throughout the Central Louisiana region. RESERVATIONS
General Public and ADA eligible individuals Transportation is provided in Natchitoches Parish, Monday – Friday. First pick-up 7:00 am and last drop off 4:00 pm. Riders must state all desired stops when booking their reservations. CLOSED HOLIDAYS. Use the online trip reservation form or call (318) 664-9720 to make reservations Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 1:00pm.
